Arrival is on Sunday from 6:00 PM. Upper level students also have the option to arrive on Monday morning.

Weekends at the Boarding School
- Independent Time Management: Students are encouraged to manage their time responsibly, fostering self-discipline and independence.
- Self-Catering: The school does not provide meals on weekends. However, students have access to a fully equipped kitchen where they can prepare their own meals.
- Structured Freedom: Weekend permissions and schedules are organized according to the student’s academic year and, when necessary, in consultation with parents or legal guardians.
Leisure time facilities & Activities
At BRG/BORG Schloss Traunsee, students enjoy a wide variety of recreational opportunities designed to support physical well-being, creativity, and social development:

- Three wholesome meals daily: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided.

- Daily vegetarian options: A vegetarian alternative is offered with every meal.

Boarding Facilities
Our boarding school offers well-equipped and comfortable living spaces tailored to each student group. Rooms include:
- Bed with duvet and pillow (provided)
- Desk and desk chair
- Personal cupboard
- Partially ensuite bathrooms (depending on group)
In addition to individual rooms, students have access to:
- Common lounges
- A billiards room
- A fully equipped student kitchen
- A tea kitchen
- Dedicated study rooms
Packing list
To ensure a smooth start, we recommend students bring the following items:
General Essentials:
- Sufficient clothing for all seasons
- Everyday shoes
- Two pairs of slippers (one for the boarding house, one for school)
- Pyjamas
- Bath towels (large and small)
- Toiletries
- Bed linen and duvet/pillow covers (duvet and pillow are provided)
- Bed cover
- Vaccination passport
- E-card (proof of health insurance)
For Physical Education (PE):
- Sportswear
- Sports bag
- Running shoes and indoor trainers (for gym use)
- Shower gel
- Towel
- Padlock (for lockers)
Important Note:
For fire safety reasons, only electrical devices with a valid CE certification may be used within the boarding facilities.
Costs & Application
Costs
- The monthly boarding fee from September to June is €472. The boarding school is open on most weekends; an additional fee of €18 per weekend applies.
- All payments are processed via SEPA direct debit within the first 10 days of the following month.
- Enrollment is possible at any time during the school year. Withdrawal from the boarding school is only permitted at the end of a semester.
- In the case of illness lasting more than 9 consecutive school days, charges may be waived upon submission of a medical certificate to the accounting office.
